I have been doing life casting for the past 10 years in my back yard studio. I do faces, hands, feet, pregnant tummies, legs….I'm ready to try anything that I can put plaster on. My castings are used to create clay images that I further enhance with my artistic methods of raku firing, glazing and/or painting. Lifecasting is more than a hobby for me…it's my art. The attached photo is ceramic – raku fired with crackle glaze.
